Happy Birthday Goldie Lex...=)

So a really special girl is celebrating her birthday on October 12th. My BFF's daughter, Lexi. So of course I had to make her a special card.... Lexi is no ordinary kid. She goes to school, she volunteers at a senior's home AND she is a KICK ass roller derby girl. In fact, she is the captain of the Candy Crusher's roller derby team. Originally I was going to do a card with a rad roller girl on it BUT for some odd reason I could not get into colouring the image.... I was struggling. So I chose a Magnolia stamp instead...... Tilda With a Big Ice-cream, because seriously? Who doesn't like ice cream?

Back in Time/Vintage Challenge =)

First off, I would like to congratulate the winners from the last challenge, I really enjoyed all the entries. I was so happy about this challenge because I love everything vintage. I am always distressing all the layers on my cards and inking everything, so I felt right at home with this challenge. I chose a new stamp released August 30th. Her name is Miss Hollywood and she could not have been more perfect for what I wanted to do for this challenge.... you can find Miss Hollywood here!

I am so thrilled with how this card turned out. It is also my mom's birthday card this year! Her birthday was on September 1st. Love you mom.... =)

Magnolia Heaven..... =)

So I am going to share another special card I made for another special person in my life. I used a new stamp I got from Magnolia. I do not believe it is a new stamp to the company but it is to me as I JUST got it in the mail a couple of days ago and I could not wait to ink her up. Her name is Tilda With a Love Cake and you can find a link to her at the bottom of this post.

I have quite a few old Magnolia stamps which I never used because I was not really good at colouring with Copics but now that I have been practicing I am going to be brave and start colouring them more as they are adorable.....
