Digi Choosday's Challenge Week 8 - Anything Goes =)

My inspiration card for Digi Choosday's
 "Anything Goes" challenge!

I have been wanting to use Opera
Singer Girl for a while now.
She is available as a single download or she is available
in the Work and Play 8 collection CD.
Please see the links below.

I didn't have anyone in mind for this card
but I am sure I won't have a problem finding
someone..... =)

Pink has been a favourite colour of mine lately
and of course who doesn't like polka dots?

The Paper Shelter Challenge #190 Recycle

The Paper Shelter's challenge
this week is asking everyone to use something
on their card that is recycled.

This should be easy right?
WRONG! I had a hard time with this challenge....
I chose to rip apart a gift bag I had
that had glittered hearts on it.

I thought it was perfect because it is
also almost Valentine's Day
and well I needed some hearts!

I also chose to use the adorable image
Valentina, which you can find here!

It took me 3 tries to ink this image,
my pens were being stubborn and
would blob all over her face.....
in fact this one had a blob
right in the nose area, but
after the third try I was
determined to make this one work!

Isn't she cute? Aside from the stubborn
markers, I had fun inking this one up.

challenge is using "The Proposal"!

You can find it also on the newly released,

The DP and sentiment "A True Love Story
Never Ends" is also from the same set.

One stop shop with a lot of the CD's available

I absolutely love this way this image turned out.
The salmon like colour is not something I normally use
but I actually like the look of it!

Digi Choosday's Challenge Week 5 - In The Pink =)

One of my favourite colours as of late is PINK!

What a perfect theme for a challenge.....
the inspiration card for this week's challenge is
using one of new releases, Cupid's Arrow!

You can also get her with a whole lot of goodies

The DP is also from the same pack!

Don't forget that Polka Doodles is having a DT Call,
all the information you need is here!

I wasn't really happy with the way this card
was heading but then I added the flowers and
glittery things and then I felt ok about it.

Every so often I surprise people with my use
of flowers... I have tons of them.... TONS
but I am really a clean and simple type of girl
with lots of layers of papers.
Not a whole lot of embellishments, BUT
this card called for it, I was really stuck with
what to do once the image was on the card.
SO I added flowers! =)
